I’m a social media manager with experience in building, and engaging with, communities. I am currently working as an engagement specialist, helping brands cultivate relationships with their communities. In addition, I assist in managing two weekly Twitter chats, engaging in hour-long conversations with participants. I have written blog posts on social media and also drafted and published over 100 posts on a corporate blog.

I volunteer my time to advise the organization on social media strategies and execute tactics that support their goals of increasing awareness of, and preventing, domestic violence. Specifically, I assist in engaging with the community on Facebook by sharing relevant information regarding gender equality, domestic violence, and women’s health.

As the marketing manager, I recommended and executed social media and marketing strategies on Facebook, Instagram, and the blog in order to increase brand awareness for Daiva’s fitness coaching business and create a community around getting healthy. Here is a brief snapshot of my work here.

During my two years as social media manager, I developed and implemented social media strategies to grow and engage an audience from scratch, totaling 7,300 followers on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms. I also oversaw 50 campus ambassadors as they maintained SPORTalk’s Twitter and Facebook accounts. Additionally, I managed the company blog by editing, drafting, and promoting over 120 blog posts.
